From Learning to Leading: Launching my Life Coaching Practice With Purpose

From learning to leading, following my certificate achievement as a Life Coach at the International Coaching Institute ICI, my next step was to launch my Life Coaching Practice with purpose. My aim is to align my purpose, passion, and profit, resulting in a business that is not only financially successful but deeply fulfilling. Hence, I started with aligning my values to a meaningful mission and crafting my mission statement. My mission is to be able to enlighten people of their own inner light in their deepest core so that they live a fulfilled and purposeful life while honouring their life values and achieve their greatest potential.

My brand name, NIRVANA which means the highest state a person can attain, the state of enlightenment. I believe that through life coaching, a person achieves clarity which leads to enlightenment. NIRVANA also means liberation from sufferings. The lotus flower represents the journey from ignorance to spiritual awakening and symbolises the blossoming of inner potential to achieve purity, clarity and peace. Moreover, the lotus teaches us that we can still blossom in challenging conditions.

My life coaching practice is about what impact I want to make in the society and asking myself how can my practice address people’s challenges and needs. I believe that my Life Coaching practice can address people who want to enhance their personal growth, overcome their limiting beliefs, better manage their mental health and stress management, prevent burnouts, improve their relationships, have a better work-life balance, become more efficient in their time management, enhance their confidence and self-esteem, going through career transitions or wanting to start their own business.

My business approach is very holistic. Over the years, I have understood the importance of yoga, breathing and meditation. I believe that life coaching and yoga complement each other towards a healthier and more sustainable life which is why my services include both life coaching and Yoga practice. Yoga enhances physical strength, flexibility, focus, sleep quality and consciousness. It also decreases feelings of stress and anxiety and helps in emotional regulation hence, improving our mood and increases our self-esteem. I believe that in today’s world, it is important to take care of both our mental and physical states.

Under the expert guidance and expertise of Dr. Krishna Athal, I started to work on my Business Model. I learned the importance and complexity of working out a business plan, including my vision of my business in the long term and designing a business strategy that aligns with my mission and purpose statement. Furthermore, I started working on the different types of services I wanted to offer. Next, the financial forecasts and implementation timeline were set. Another important factor is communicating my business purpose to my audience and being able to reach the people who will benefit from life coaching. It is important that my marketing strategy aligns with my business’ purpose and mission while keeping the experience of the client at the centre. The exercise of making my business model was very empowering.

I believe that engaging with people who share my values and support the purpose of my business is also important. I had the opportunity of working with YUVA who organised two free workshops for women entrepreneurs. Women empowerment which is also one of my values and mission. Following the two workshops, we committed to deliver free business coaching sessions to women entrepreneurs to enhance women empowerment. That was a great networking opportunity to work with people having the same mind-set as me and learning from each other.

Women empowerment starts with a woman’s sense of self worth; her right to make choices and have opportunities, her right to control her own life both inside and outside her home, her ability to influence social change and, her access to resources. I believe that through life coaching, I can empower more women to reach their highest potential by addressing their personal growth, building confidence and fostering self-esteem. By creating a supportive environment, we can empower each other.

Hence, step by step, a small business idea turned into NIRVANA. I believe that we all have a spark in our deepest core and the first step is to just start and believe in ourselves. I am grateful that I had Dr. Krishna Athal by my side, and through my journey, as a Life Coach, I hope to empower and inspire more people in their own path. I believe that we all have a unique talent to gift to the world and once we know what it is, we can break the sky’s limits. Maybe a deep question that we can ask ourselves is “What is Our Life Purpose?”

This was the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey of launching my life coaching practice, NIRVANA with purpose, integrity, and determination.
