How I Transitioned from Aspiration to Action: My Journey into Life Coaching

This journey entails my experience of transitioning from my aspirations to action under the expert guidance of Dr. Krishna Athal. This transition is also about bridging the gap between my ideas about what I want to accomplish and actually taking the necessary steps to make it happen. From being an aspiring life coach to actually becoming a life coach requires a lot of effort, planning, and consistency.

Dr. Krishna Athal helped me find clarity in my aspirations, including what kind of life coach I want to be, and helped me find my purpose and mission as a life coach.  I realised my passion to help individuals connect to their inner wisdom, find clarity in their respective paths, and live by their values and life purpose. My approach being empathetic, compassionate, and humble, I want to help people overcome their self-doubt and break their barriers to achieve their greatest potential. My mission is also to empower women whether they are looking for clarity in their lives, rediscover their path to self-discovery, or start their own business. By adopting a holistic approach and integrating life coaching, yoga, and meditation, my objective is to help people achieve:

  • Self-Confidence and Motivation: Life coaching empowers individuals to become more confident and motivated in reaching their goals.
  • Clarity and Awareness: It helps individuals clarify and achieve their true desires.
  • Happiness and Fulfilment: Clients often say they can finally achieve long-term dreams.
  • Work-Life-Balance: Life coaching assists individuals in prioritizing different areas of their lives without feeling overwhelmed.
  • Improved Mental Health: Individuals learn to use coaching tools to manage acute stress and anxiety.
  • Physical, Mental well being and healing through yoga, breath work, and meditation, resulting in increased flexibility and strength, stress reduction, improved focus, improved balance and coordination, enhanced body awareness, weight loss, and improved overall health.

Next, I moved to the planning phase, including my business
plan. Under the mentorship of Dr. Krishna Athal and his excellence in business strategy and entrepreneurship, I got a broader vision of my business and learned more about different aspects of entrepreneurship. Hence, I started to work on my business vision in the long term, my business structure, my targeted audience, financial forecasts and more. Furthermore, an implementation timeline was set with very specific dates and deadlines to achieve my business goals. I also got the opportunity to attend his workshops on entrepreneurship, which broadened my knowledge. Hence, that is how NIRVANA was born.

NIRVANA is a space dedicated to growth, self-discovery, and healing where I support individuals, especially women and aspiring entrepreneurs, in breaking through emotional blocks, finding balance amidst chaos, and crafting lives that are both meaningful and fulfilling.

I was very clear on my business goals to achieve and now was the time to put the business plan into action. Within no time, NIRVANA was present on the social platforms, and gradually, people got to know about NIRVANA and the impact of life coaching. Following this, I attended two incredible workshops on women entrepreneurship organised by YUVA Mauritius and HomeNet South Asia. Dr. Krishna Athal gave me the wonderful opportunity of coaching these women entrepreneurs on a pro-bono basis.

As a life coach, it was a great experience to witness the business mindset of these women. My goal during these business coaching sessions was to help these women clarify their business goals, identify where they are currently in their business, brainstorm on available options, and move towards actionable steps and SMART goals. Through powerful questioning, they were able to find their own answers and solutions. I was able to put into practice what I had learned during my training sessions with Dr. Krishna Athal at the International Coaching Institute ICI and witnessed the power of coaching. The women emerged as more determined and confident and started to execute short-term goals to achieve their vision and purpose of their businesses.

I believe that consistency and discipline play an important role in this transition. I am grateful that Dr. Krishna Athal helped me in shaping my purpose-driven path because I would not have been able to reach where I am today without him. By empowering me, Dr. Krishna Athal has given me the pathway for me to empower other people. Accountability has also helped me to stay on track with my goals and objectives as it is about taking ownership of my own success. I have also learned so much during this transition, including entrepreneurship. I am of the opinion that continuous learning and upskilling are crucial to keep growing. Through continuous commitment, effort, and achieving short-term goals, I moved closer to my vision. I believe that there is still more to accomplish, and by taking small steps, I can surely achieve my greatest accomplishments.

Moreover, if we believe in ourselves, we can achieve our greatest aspirations and dreams. Hence, do we dare to dream?
