The “Why” behind NIRVANA
NIRVANA is derived from Sanskrit and represents the state of freedom, liberation, and the ultimate spiritual release or enlightenment. For me personally, NIRVANA represents a liberation from my own doubts, confusion, fear, suffering, greed, expectations, obsessions and desires. NIRVANA is in a way my own experience of attaining peace, fulfillment, purpose, and a life without regrets by honouring my own life values. Through life coaching and yoga, I believe that people can experience their own “NIRVANA“.
My personal story on NIRVANA
At some point in my life, I took the decision of taking a conscious pause. It was my own decision and I did not require nor ask anyone’s permission for it. That pause led me to a deeper level of self-discovery. It led me to become aware of the missing element in my equation. Instead of going around in the same loop, I decided to pause. I realised that I have a much deeper purpose in my life. My pause helped me visualise my life from a different perspective and it somehow led me to yoga and life coaching. I discovered life coaching through Dr. Krishna Athal which was a game changer for me. That is how NIRVANA was born.
I am deeply passionate about helping people reconnect with their inner wisdom, realign with their purpose, and live with greater clarity and confidence. NIRVANA is a space dedicated for growth, healing and self-discovery.
What if we could live a life that aligns with our values, where our actions match our beliefs, core values and principles? That is the purpose of NIRVANA.
A powerful question that I asked myself.
Can we be totally honest with ourselves that if we were to die tomorrow, we would have no regrets?
Why NIRVANA Integrates Wellness?
In today’s modern time and lifestyle, how many people and employees are suffering from back pain, shoulder pain, neck pain, wrist pain and more? Some of them are consequences of prolonged sitting, long meetings and lack of exercise. Compared to our ancestors, how many steps do we cover per day?
Moreover, more people are experiencing acute stress or burnout which may result from work pressure, lack of support, shouldering too many responsibilities, and not getting adequate rest. I started experiencing frequent lower back pain at work. These affect our body and health and can lead to more serious health issues such as heart related illnesses and more.
That is why NIRVANA integrates Yoga and Meditation. NIRVANA’s aim is to tackle these issues before they become chronic health issues. Yoga and meditation do not only serve as physical wellness but also enhances our mental health and productivity. Yoga and meditation helps to reduce stress by lowering the stress hormones like cortisol and activates our parasympathetic nervous system which is our rest and digest mode.
Furthermore, meditation is known to increase the gray matter of our brain and enhances our critical thinking. Breathing exercises helps to calm our mind and balances our energy channels throughout our body. Yoga and meditation when practiced regularly have the power to heal our emotional wounds and helps us to detach what no longer serves us and thus, helps us to embrace new opportunities by living in the NOW.
